Adalberto Corres earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, in June of 2009. While at U.C. Davis, Mr. Corres was a member of the NCAA Division I Track & Field and Cross-Country teams. Mr. Corres was also the president of La Raza Pre-Law Student Association at U.C. Davis.
In May of 2014, Mr. Corres earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was a member of La Raza Law Student Association. While in law school, Mr. Corres served as a teaching assistant for contracts and constitutional law courses. Mr. Corres was also a member of Outlaw and the Pro Bono Society.
Mr. Corres worked as a legal extern at the San Francisco Office of the Mayor during the first summer year of law school. Mr. Corres also worked as a certified law clerk for the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office and the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office during his second and third years of law school, respectively. After graduation from law school, Mr. Corres was a post-bar bridge fellow at the Monterey County Public Defender’s Office.
Mr. Corres currently practices employment law litigation. He is admitted to practice in the State of California, the United States District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Corres is fluent in Spanish.
